National Guidelines in Brazil - National Council for the Rights of Women (CNDM)

The CNDM is responsible for the policy "Strategies for Equality: Platform for Action to Implement the Commitments Made by Brazil at the Fourth Conference on Women" which includes policies for a number of areas of concern relevant to women and employment:

1. Female-headed households.

2. Income generation, employment and income generation at municipal and state levels.

3. Access to credit and the financing of micro and cooperative enterprises.

4. Child care facilities.

5. Technical\management training.
