Educational Programmes

1. The Adult Education Programme is a 5 year programme that commenced in 1997 which aims to provide 100,000 new places. It is relevant to women who have been made redundant in the health and manufacturing sector and one of its aims is to seek to improve the gender balance in the labour market.
2. The University College administration has developed courses on gender equality as part of the training in law schools and schools of economics.
