Programme by the Ministry of Equal Opportunities

As part of joint efforts (with the Ministry of Education, Ministry for Universities and Scientific and Technological Research and the Ministry of Social Affairs), the Ministry for Equal Opportunities has engaged Universities in the following ways:

1. Support for the establishment of women studies in Italian Universities.
2. Creation of a national observatory to monitor the numbers and positions of women in scientific research institutions and universities as well as to monitor their training and career paths.
