Equality of Opportunity in Education and Training - Law No. 387/1996 - Slovakia

This law deals with education and re-Qualification and provides that the right to employment also entails the right to re-qualification. Opportunities for further education and re-qualification should be made available and organized by employers’ organizations and the labour offices. The Labour Code not only mentions men and women’s equal right to specialized training and re-training, but also sets forth employers’ duties in this respect.
