Lifelong Learning Endowment Fund Act 2001 (No. 1 of 2001)

This Act establishes the Lifelong Learning Endowment Fund and makes provision for capital funding of the Fund for initiatives related to employment and employability. Programmes are developed in partnership with industry/trade or employer associations, community organisations, self-help groups etc. Priority is given to programmes targeted at those who face greater challenges coping with the structural changes in the economy and labour market.
