Equality of Opportunity in Education and Training - Republic Act Concerning Private Education - Philippines

Republic Act No. 6728 of 1989

This Act grants government assistance to students and teachers in private education. Private schoolteachers who have meagre earnings (mostly female) can avail themselves of scholarships to enable them to continue higher education and qualify them for more responsible positions.
