Equality of Opportunity in Education and Training - Inspectorate-General for Labour (IGT - Inspecção Geral do Trabalho) - Portugal

The IEFP was created in 1979 with the aim of promoting new strategies for employment and vocational training. It is a public organ and is attached to the Ministry of Social and Labour.

In terms of gender equality promotion, the IEFP has published information leaflets and more important publications, such as manuals of good practices. It also gives information to companies on how to obtain financial aid on the grounds that the company applies the "equality of opportunity" principle.
