Equality of Opportunity in Education and Training - Ministry of Education - Italy

The Ministry set up a National Equal Opportunity Committee in 1989, building on the experience of Equal Opportunity Offices at the provincial level. The Committee has formulated three 3-year plans for equal opportunities in education. The second plan (1997-2000) was based on the Beijing Platform of Action.
