Equality of Opportunity in Education and Training - National Institutions for Education - Hungary

Ministry of Education - National Training Council

Established under Act IV of 1991 on Employment Promotion and Provision for Unemployed, this council is involved in training on employment issues, such as support for development programs for the unemployed, establishment of training centres and commenting on laws relating to training.

National Institute for Vocational Education

The activities of the Institute include development of qualification programs, research into vocational education, adult education, operation of the Vocational Information Centre, and international activities.

National Institute for Public Education

The work of this institute has included research into the Hungarian education system  and a useful paper which provides an overview of the Hungarian educational system.
