Equality of Opportunity in Education and Training - Ministry of Education - Bangladesh

The Ministry's measures to promote girls' education and retention at the primary and secondary levels include:

1. a nationwide female stipend programme at educational institutions outside metropolitan areas;
2. free education, with government incentives, for girls at higher secondary levels; and,
3. the commission of a special report on gender-neutrality in educational curricula.
