HIV & AIDS

An HIV/AIDS workplace policy for the tourism sector is available via the ILO office in the Caribbean.

This policy is based on the ILO code of practice on HIV/AIDS and the world of work, adopted by the international tripartite meeting convened by the ILO in 2001, and includes key concepts and principles of the ILO code of practice.

The ILO is supporting via its regional offices information campaigns and workplace approaches on this issue. Currently the ILO has producing an awareness raising leaflet on HIV/AIDS (available in Arabic only) for hotel workers in the Arab world.
