5. Contributions to the newsletter:
One of the network activities is the distribution of a newsletter. The function of the newsletter is primarily to help disseminate news of members, not of the secretariat. Along with the registration form, short contributions on new developments concerning the forestry workforce, calls for information, offers of cooperation, research results, upcoming events, new publications, or any other news you consider may be of interest to members would be welcome.

Please note that the newsletter does not carry substantive articles, reviews, etc. The intention is rather to bring news to the attention of network members and to provide a reference for fuller information. Your contribution should be concise and always include a contact name and address for further information.

6. The core forestry workforce library:
The network will compile a bibliography with 'compulsory reading' about the forestry workforce. To this effect we request members to list below the five references you consider most relevant and useful.
