Project Background:	Establishment of an education and research centre at the TüRK-IS headquarters in Ankara, based on the need to assist the organization in upgrading the level of training of its officials in: gathering and processing of economic and statistical data for wage determination in collective bargaining; broadening documentation from which study materials can be developed at various levels of training.
Target group(s):	TüRK-IS officers and specialist; shop stewards and elected workers' representatives at all levels; national trade union organizers.
Main activities:	fellowships abroad for TüRK-IS Training and Research Centre's personnel; a series of economic studies elaborated under the project; a series of workers' education seminars on economics and labour law.
