Special Paragraphs
During the International Labour Conference, the ILO Committee on the Application of Standards may site countries in special paragraphs of its report. This is a procedure reserved for consistent and serious violations of labour rights, including those enshrined in core labour standards. Having reviewed developments in countries cited last year, the Workers' Group of the ILO considers that additional pressure is required to obtain badly-needed change in the situation.
