Application for Fellowships A limited number of fellowships will be awarded to students from developing and transition countries. The fellowship includes free tuition, travel cost to Germany and a monthly grant of 650 EUR to cover living expenses, accommodation and health insurance (25 EUR per month). Applications for a fellowship can be indicated on point 9.4 of the application form. A support letter from a trade union organization is an application requirement. Please also note that the fellowship is a matching grant. It will only be awarded, if a trade union or another institution is co-sponsoring the programme with 1500 EUR. The potential co-sponsor has to be indicated on the application form and his/her contribution has to be paid before the start of the programme to the university fellowship account.
