- Regional Forum for the African Private Sector on the Social and
Economic Challenges of the ACP 2–EU 3 Economic Partnership Agreements

Geographical coverage: Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi,
Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo,
Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea
Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique,
Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Uganda, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa,
Swaziland, United Republic of Tanzania and Togo
Purpose of the forum: To help employers’ organizations strengthen
their ability to negotiate and to represent the interests of enterprises
and employers during the crucial transitional period (2008–20) of the
economic partnership agreements (EPAs), with particular emphasis on the
following: upgrading enterprises, adjustments resulting from the progressive
dismantling of tariff restrictions, the social dimension of EPAs
