ACT/EMP Sub-regional Workshop on Strategies and Action for Possible Improvements of the Legal Environment for Employers' Organizations in Eastern European and Central Asian Countries

Geographical coverage : Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Purpose of meeting :

• to present the new ACT/EMP publication "Legal Frameworks for Employers' Organizations in Eastern European and Central Asian Countries";
• to have an exchange of information and experience on current issues regarding the legal framework for employers' organizations amongst representatives from employers' organizations in Eastern European and Central Asian countries, together with experts from employers' organizations from Central and Western European countries;
• on this basis, to help develop practical strategies and action by each participating employers' organization for possible improvements of the legal framework for their functioning;
