  This report contains the English versions of (A) the proposed Convention concerning the prohibition and immediate elimination of the worst forms of child labour; and (B) the proposed Recommendation concerning the prohibition and immediate elimination of the worst forms of child labour, which are submitted as a basis for discussion of the fourth item on the agenda of the 87th Session of the International Labour Conference (June 1999).

It contains the essential points of their replies on the proposed Convention and proposed Recommendation concerning the worst forms of child labour.   This report contains the texts of a proposed Convention and Recommendation concerning the prohibition and immediate elimination of the worst forms of child labour. These texts are based on the Conclusions adopted by the International Labour Conference following the first discussion at its 86th Session (June 1998).
