8224 PHOTOGRAPHIC-PRODUCTS MACHINE OPERATORS
 


    Photographic-products machine operators operate and monitor equipment which makes photographic film and paper, and which processes exposed photographic film and makes prints.

    Tasks include -

    (a) operating and monitoring equipment which makes photographic film and paper;

    (b) operating and monitoring machines for coating and backing photographic plates;

    (c) operating and monitoring equipment which processes colour and black-and white films and plates to obtain negatives or transparent positives;

    (d) operating and monitoring equipment which prints black-and- white or colour photographs or which enlarges or reduces photographs;

    (e) performing related tasks;

    (f) supervising other workers.
