7436 SEWERS, EMBROIDERERS AND RELATED WORKERS
 


    Sewers, embroiderers and related workers sew together, repair and decorate garments, gloves and other products of textile, fur, leather and other materials by hand or by using simple sewing machines, and perform various related tasks.

    Tasks include -

    (a) performing various sewing tasks in making, altering and repairing articles of textile, leather and other materials;

    (b) embroidering decorative designs on garments or materials;

    (c) sewing sails, tents, awnings and similar articles;

    (d) assembling and covering umbrellas;

    (e) performing related tasks;

    (f) supervising other workers.
