7423 WOODWORKING-MACHINE SETTERS AND SETTER-OPERATORS
 


    Woodworking-machine setters and setter-operators set or set and operate woodworking machines, such as precision sawing, shaping, planing, boring, turning and woodcarving machines.

    Tasks include -

    (a) setting and adjusting various kinds of machines for operation by others;

    (b) setting and operating one or several types of woodworking machines;

    (c) performing related tasks;

    (d) supervising other workers.
