7243 ELECTRONICS MECHANICS AND SERVICERS
 


    Electronics mechanics and servicers service and repair radio and television equipment, tape recorders, video cassette recorders, and other audio-visual equipment.

    Tasks include -

    (a) examining radio or television equipment, tape recorders, video cassette recorders, and other audio-visual equipment, replacing defective parts and making adjustments and repairs;

    (b) performing related tasks;

    (c) supervising other workers.

    Examples of the occupations classified here:

  • Erector, radio aerial

  • Mechanic, electronics/audiovisual equipment
