4112 WORD-PROCESSOR AND RELATED OPERATORS
 


    Word-processor and related operators type, edit, and print various documents using word-processing equipment, or send and receive messages and facsimiles by means of a teleprinter, telefax or similar machines.

    Tasks include - (a) typing correspondence, business forms and other documents into word-processing machines;

    (b) planning and executing layout and format, if not preset;

    (c) altering, rearranging and editing typed text;

    (d) operating printer, usually linked to the word processor;

    (e) sending and receiving messages or facsimiles by means of a teleprinter, telefax or similar machines-,

    (f) performing limited clerical duties;

    (g) performing related tasks;

    (h) supervising other workers.
