The Générale Beaulieu and Champel Elysée clinics apply the following special tariffs to members of SHIF :

reduction of 8 % on hospital rates ;

point value for ambulatory care fixed at CHF 0.50 ;

special all-inclusive rates for maternity services.

This clinic applies the following special tariffs to members of SHIF :

• reduction of 5 % on hospital rates (if the invoice is paid within 30 days) ;
• special all-inclusive rates concerning stays :
• for functional rehabilitation and neurological rehabilitation ;
• for cardiac rehabilitation.

La Métairie Clinic is specialized in psychiatric and substance-abuse treatment. This clinic applies the following special tariffs to members of SHIF :

A fixed price of CHF 3'500.- has been allocated for a cataract or a glaucoma operation There is a fixed price concerning combined cataract and glaucoma operations. Refractive surgery by laser services are also provided.

SITEX is a multidisciplinary structure, including pharmacists-clinicians, nurses and administrative support.  This structure provides hospital care and treatment at home as an alternative to systematic or prolonged hospitalization.

SITEX grants SHIF members a 15 % reduction in the fixed daily fees for the following services (provided that the invoice is paid within 30 days of receipt) :

• parenteral and enteral nutrition ;
• intravenous antibiotics ;
• pain control ;
• chemotherapy ;
• hydration.

Within the framework of SHIF’s cost-containment policy, these pharmacies are agreed to grant a discount on medication purchased by SHIF members.

The advantages granted by the above-mentioned pharmacies are as follows :

Moreover, these pharmacies grant a 10 % reduction for all purchases of medication prescribed by a medical doctor up to 100 CHF. A reduction of 5 % is granted for all purchases of medication exceeding 100 CHF. Upon request, these pharmacies can deliver products at the insured member's home without any additional charge.

Sun Store is a pharmaceutical company located in seven different areas around Geneva.  Sun Store allows those part of the ILO/ITU Health Insurance to reductions on prescribed medicine.

The agreement concluded in 1997 between our Fund and SUNSTORE pharmacies has been amended by a new agreement of 30 August 2001 exempting members from the charges introduced by the new pricing system. The advantages granted by the SUNSTORE group are as follows :
 

Patient charge (for the patient record)	CHF 0 instead of CHF 7.35
Pharmacist’s charge (for each medication)	CHF 0 instead of CHF 4.30
After-hours charge (6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.)	CHF 0 instead of CHF 2.60
Night charge	CHF 0 instead of CHF21.00
