Nations Development Group: The ILO chaired this Working Group, represented by John Langmore, Director, New York Liaison Office, and Azita Berar-Awad, Policy Integration Department. UNFPA served as the Vice-Chair, and the international financial institutions also contributes to its work. The outputs of the Working Group were (1) an assessment of UNDG participation in the PRS(P) processes; and (2) to issue guidance to country teams on UN participation in these processes. The WG has completed its work, adopting both texts on 1 December 2003. The approved Assessment and Guidance Note will be posted on the UNDG website, along with the letter from the UNDP Administrator. |
