7:30-11:00 Occupational Safety and Health Day Commemoration – "Health and Life at Work"

The world of work can be a dangerous place. Since 1919 the ILO has sought to minimize risk in the workplace as well as promote safe work practices and a culture of prevention. If work is to be decent, it must also be safe!

The purpose of this event is to promote a safety culture in Cambodia, and raise public awareness of the importance of occupational safety and health. A high level conference with representatives of the Ministry of Labour, workers and employers organizations and the ILO will celebrate Health and Life at Work.
