The proposed field visit responds to one of the action points agreed in the RBSA meeting of 28 April 20161, and builds upon the successful experience of the 2015’s field visit to Zambia, which was considered by all participants as an extremely useful exercise that allowed them to better understand ILO operations in practice, including in its interaction with local stakeholders and international organizations. Jordan has been selected in consultation with RBSA development partners, given their strong interest in understanding how Decent Work is promoted in situations of conflict.
