    The ILO supports the idea to elaborate a voluntary set of internationally recognized principles of responsible and effective governance and appreciates the progress achieved by the Committee of experts since the last session. We welcome the draft of basic principles and technical guidelines contained in two documents annexed to the note prepared by the Secretariat for this meeting, which we think represents a solid basis for further work.
