Background
On the occasion of the World Day for Social Justice, the Permanent Mission of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UN and the International Labour Organization (ILO) will convene a special event that examines the challenges women, men and youth face in accessing opportunities for a better life and decent work and its importance to Member States’ growth and development.

This Forum will bring together key stakeholders to show the human face of development and explore the challenges in implementing successful strategies. Panellists will discuss how various approaches can be tailored to promote employment, especially for youth, and how access to services such as social protection and relevant education and training programmes are vital in the transition to decent work.
