As part of the collaboration with The Central Board of Workers Education (CBWE), a state level training of Education Officers will be conducted in Hooghly with the following objectives. 1. To enhance the understanding of participants on HIV and AIDS Programme, components of National AIDS Control Programme –III and National Policy on HIV and AIDS and the World of Work and 2. To orient the participants to the strategy/elements of the Ministry of Labour and Employment’s proposal for Global Fund for AIDS, TB and Malaria (GFATM 09), particularly the role of CBWE in building capacity of partners at state/district levels. This will cover Education officers from West Bengal.
