Multi-stakeholders Consultation on Fundamental and Principle Rights at Work

A multi-stakeholders consultation on Fundamental and Principle Rights at Work (FPRW) was organized to discuss importance of prioritizing implementation of all the four fundamental principles in the cotton growing areas and plan integrated approach.

The project ‘Promoting fundamental principles and rights at work in the cotton supply chain’ organized a multi-stakeholders Consultation on FPRW at Hyderabad.

The consultation played a key role in underlining importance of prioritizing implementation of all four fundamental principles in the cotton growing areas. The consultative approach participants present at the consultation discussed the need for adapting integrated approach for ensuring FPRW in the cotton supply chain.

Ms Beate Andrees, Chief, Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work Branch of ILO attended the workshop. She interacted and guided the senior officials from Government, Trade Unions, Civil Society Organizations, representatives from academia and research organizations and experts participating at the meeting.
