Introduction of India- EU Cooperation and Dialogue on Migration and Mobility project to EU Member States
This meeting was held with EU Member States representatives in India to introduce the EU-India Cooperation and Dialogue on Migration and Mobility project.
ILO was invited to present the EU India Cooperation and Dialogue on Migration and Mobility project during the EUD Schengen States Coordination Meeting, held at the EU Delegation Office this September. The project intervention design, covering the overall and specific objectives aimed to be achieved through this three year initiative, was presented during this meeting. Among the widespread range of targeted stakeholders, government officials and delegates from the EU member States (MS) are critical in enhancing the bilateral cooperation and dialogue on migration and mobility.
This interaction focused on the chalking the potential areas of support from the EU MS in meeting the overall objective of the project. Specifically, the ILO seeks active engagement from the member states in a series of technical workshops and conferences, knowledge exchange on emerging labour market trends legislative changes, good practices, collaboration for study tours and technical guidance and support.
