SIYB Competency Reinforcement Workshop for Master Trainers
Refresher and competency assessment forum was conducted by ILO to certify three Indian SIYB master trainers, three participants from Sri Lanka, and two from Senegal.
A refresher course was conducted at the ILO Office in New Delhi by Sri Lanka International SIYB Master Trainer Gemunu Wijesena. He was assisted by two Indian master trainers --Khaleelul Rahman and G.Y. Reddy-- for potential international certification of eight master trainers from India, Sri Lanka and Senegal.
ILO experts and others also conducted a number of sessions, including one on integrating SIYB in other programmes, gender equality and women' economic empowerment, green business promotion, among others. This course facilitated experience-sharing amongst MTs from three countries.
