Campaign against Child Domestic Work and for adoption of National Policy on Domestic Workers

ILO has announced that the 2013 World Day against Child Labour, observed worldwide on June 12, will focus on Child Domestic Labour. In response to ILO 's call to abolish child domestic work and to restate No to Child Labour in Domestic Work series of activities are planned by Jharkhand Gharelu Kamghar Union at Ranchi in collaboration with, Converging against Child Labour: Supporting India's Model, Making Decent work a Reality for Domestic Workers Projects. Simultaneously, a week long campaign is taking place to raise general public awareness on adoption of National Policy on Domestic Workers.

As culmination of the week long campaign a public event will be conducted on 12th June 2013 on the eve of World Day Against Child Labour which is aimed at drawing employers' conscious against child domestic worker and general public awareness on adoption of National Policy on Domestic Workers.
