  8. About domestic work

    Domestic work refers to housework such as sweeping, cleaning utensils, washing clothes, cooking, caring of children and such other work which is carried out for an employer for remuneration. Domestic work provides an important livelihood source for illiterate women or those with very little education.

  9. Photo contest - Promoting Decent Work for Domestic Workers

    The contest is a part of ongoing public campaign titled "Your Work is Important" to spread awareness amongst the public, youth, employers, trade unions and domestic worker about the significance of paid domestic work and to protect and promote the rights of the domestic workers.
