  1. ILO- Ministry of Labour and Employment National Tripartite Workshop on Recommendation No. 204 concerning the Transition from the Informal to the Formal Economy

    An ILO – Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) national tripartite workshop will be organized with the tripartite constituents to discuss the Recommendation (R) No. 204, concerning the transition from the informal to formal economy.

  2. ILO- Feminist Economics Saturday Discussion Group (FESDIG) Guest Lecture: “Inclusive Cities and the Urban Working Poor: Informality, Gender and Empowerment”

    Guest lecture will be organized with an objective to invite further collaborations between academicians and activists to understand the issues of urban planning, from gender and informal workers perspective.

  3. ILO – State (Karnataka) consultative workshop with Employers: Voluntary code of practice for engagement of contract labour

    To discuss the draft voluntary code of practice by formal enterprises in respect of engagement of contract labour and possible strategies for adoption by enterprises.

  4. ILO-SFU Microfinance for Decent Work: Enhancing the impact of microfinance on formalisation and productivity, The Indian Experience: Knowledge Sharing Workshop

    To share the Indian Experience and the 2 decent work areas they have prioritised: ESAF addressing formalisation of its informal clients and BASIX improving the productivity of agri and diary clients through better occupational safety and health conditions.
