  1. Informal economy: trade unions’ policy and actions

    On September 17-19, Armenia’s capital Yerevan hosted a subregional meeting on informal economy. It was organized by the Pan-European Regional Council of the International Trade Union Confederation (PERC-ITUC) and the ILO to develop recommendations of the region’s trade unions while preparing for the adoption of the ILO’s new recommendation on informal employment.

    Uzbekistan has created the Coordination Council on Child Labour Issues that consists of representatives from the Council of the Trade Unions’ Federation, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Farmers’ Council.
