Delegation from Viet Nam Visits ILO Moscow Office

A delegation of senior executives from Viet Nam has arrived in Moscow to take part in the Russian Business Week at the joint invitation of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) and of the “Applying the G20 Training Strategy: A Partnership of the ILO and the Russian Federation” (G20TS Project).

The delegation is led by Mr Do Nang Khanh , Deputy Director, Department of Vocational Education and Training, Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Viet Nam.

The purpose of the planned series of meetings in Moscow is to formulate potential areas of technical assistance interventions in Skills Development and related areas to be offered by the Russian Federation to the IT sector in Viet Nam. The above initiative would complement other ongoing initiatives aimed at increasing the collaboration between the two countries, such as the initiative by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and its counterparts in Viet Nam.

One of the first items in the delegation’s agenda was a visit to the ILO Moscow Office. Kholoud Alkhaldi, ILO Moscow Deputy Director, Mikhail Pouchkin, Senior Employment Specialist, and Vlado Curovic, Senior Specialist in Employers’ Activities, spoke about the forthcoming ILO anniversary and the Centenary events and presented the ILO activities in the subregion.
