ILO to Help Tajikistan with Developing National OSH Programme

On 10 February 2017, a round table was held in Dushanbe featuring a presentation of the National OSH Profile in Tajikistan, accepted with unanimous approval by the participants.

The round table was chaired by Emin Sanginzoda, First Deputy Minister of Labour, Migration and Employment of Tajikistan. The ILO Moscow representatives participating in the discussion included Valentin Mocanu, Senior Labour Administration, Labour Inspection and OSH Specialist, Vladimir Curovic, Senior Specialist in Employers’ Activities, and Rolf Buchel, Chief Technical Adviser of the ILO Decent Work Project.

The round table participants requested the ILO's assistance with developing the National OSH Profile and the National OSH Programme for 2017-2018.

The event was held as part of the ILO project "From the Crisis to Decent and Safe Jobs," implemented with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.
