The delegation included representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic Ministry of Labour and Social Development, Agency for Primary and Secondary Vocational Education and Training, National VET Research and Methodology Centre, LEGPROM Association of Light Industry Enterprises, primary and secondary VET establishments, and VET Professionals Association. The main purpose of the visit was to learn from Armenia's experience of building and reforming the country's primary and secondary VET system.

Based on a range of topics suggested by the KR Agency for Primary and Secondary VET as having priority for Kyrgyzstan, the visit agenda covered issues such as the recent reform of Armenia's VET system, social partnerships, educational program quality management, vocational guidance, participation in WorldSkills competitions, and more. In addition to meetings and presentations, a few field trips were organised to regional colleges, institutions and enterprises actively engaged as partners in the country's VET system.

Speaking on behalf of the Kyrgyz delegation, Anar Beyshembaeva of the KR Agency for Primary and Secondary VET extended thanks to the ILO Office in Moscow, ILO's “Applying the G20 Training Strategy” Project and Armenian colleagues for organising this interesting and important visit. According to Beyshembaeva, "one of Armenia's key achievement in building and reforming the country's VET system has been a systemic and consistent approach to all its aspects and the government's support of the policy implementation, which has certainly produced a positive and measurable effect."
