Kyrgyzstan introduces pension payment cards

Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic continues changing the pension payment process from cash to bank cards payments. This was announced today by Sabira Abdyrakhmanova, Head of the Analysis and Pension Payment Reporting Department, at a press conference.

According to her, the process began in 2012. At the time 68.5 thousand out of 530,000 seniors are served through bank cards. Their number is expected to increase up to 137.5 thousand people in 2013.

As Sabira Abdyrakhmanova explained, all banking services associated with obtaining the money from the account, card services as well as its replacement in case of loss, are free for pensioners.
