Kyrgyzstan’s Labour Ministry and ILO experts discuss ways out of crisis towards decent jobs

The second stage of the ILO project “From the crisis towards decent and safe jobs” was discussed at the meeting between Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Minister of Labour, Migration and Youth Kasym Chargynov and Chief Technical Adviser of the International Labour Organization’s project Rolf Buchel and ILO National Coordinator in Kyrgyzstan Bolotbek Orokov.

The meeting that took place in Bishkek on September 18 focused on priorities of cooperation, including labour market analysis and youth employment promotion.

Within the framework of the project in Kyrgyzstan the ILO organizes training workshops for unemployed population and conducts labour market surveys.

Rolf Buchel briefed on the results of the labour market survey in Tajikistan, which created a base for developing a roadmap to improve labour market conditions in Tajikistan.

The Finland-financed project of the ILO has been implemented in eight CIS-member-states since 2010.
