The training was conducted by invited ILO international master trainers from Azerbaijan (Azad Rahimov) and Kyrgyz Republic (Aisulu Meymankanova). During a 7-day intensive training the participants learned how to provide training on entrepreneurship development and preparing a business plan for the vulnerable groups (the unemployed, women and youth).

The ToT concluding ceremony was attended by Mr. Emin Sanginzoda, First Deputy Minister of Labour, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Bobokhon Barotzoda,  Director of the Agency of Labour and Employment (ALE), Mr. John Bliek, Senior Enterprise Specialist, ILO Moscow, Mr. Sobir Aminov, ILO National Coordinator in Tajikistan, Ms. Tahmina Mahmud, ILO project coordinator in Tajikistan and Mr. Shukurullo Salomov, director of the State Institution "Center for Adult Education of Tajikistan."

The ToT certificates were awarded to 16 national trainers. The participants also discussed concrete actions aimed at further integration of the SYIB component in training programmes and everyday work of the Agency. In particular, it concerns issuing interest-free loans to start small business for the unemployed citizens of Tajikistan.

The participants noted that the SIYB programme is an efficient tool that can contribute to the support of unemployed to become entrepreneur. This activity is part of a broader effort by the ILO to increase employment through entrepreneurship. The Ministry of Labour plays a key role in this process.
