They held several meetings at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and discussed the project-related activities and perspectives. Also among the issues discussed during the visit were implementation of active labour market programmess in Baku and Geokchay district, peer review on youth employment policies, as well as possibility of implementation of youth guarantee scheme in Azerbaijan. The visiting ILO officials also held a separate meeting with Mammad Musayev, President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) . They discussed the role of the employers’ organizations in the upcoming ILO activities, with a special emphasis on youth employment.
