Employers’ Organizations discuss membership strategies

In collaboration with the ILO International Training Center (ITCILO) in Turin, ILO Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia has organized a Sub-regional training on Membership strategies and Service design and delivery, which was held on 19 - 21 November 2018 in Moscow, Russia.

Regional conference on Labour Inspection in NIS

The ILO-ACTRAV, in cooperation with the Pan-European Regional Council of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC-PERC) organized a regional conference for the ITUC-PERC affiliates in the Newly Independent States (NIS) on 26-27 September in Tbilisi. The participants discussed challenges of effective functioning of the labour inspections to supervise implementation of labour and occupational health and safety standards. Taking part were trade union leaders, technical specialists and trade union labour inspectors from Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia.

Training on Effective management of Employers’ and Business Membership Organizations held in Baku

On 24-28 September, Baku, Azerbaijan, hosted training on Effective management of Employers’ and business membership organizations (EBMO), organized in cooperation with ACTEMP Unit of the ILO International Training Center (ITC).

Voluntary Peer Review of Youth Employment Policies in the CIS
The International Labour Organization (ILO) is implementing an innovative project intended to assist in the fight against youth unemployment in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Georgia.
