MDG-Fund Joint Programme on Ensuring Food Security and Nutrition for Children 0-24 Months Old in the Philippines

The ILO in partnership with other UN agencies, takes extra effort to promote maternity protection in the workplace. A joint programme through the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Achievement Fund is deemed essential in promoting the advocacy and interventions to create an enabling environment and encourage women workers and nursing mothers to practice exclusive breastfeeding in the formal and informal workplace.
