Workshop on Negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements: Capacity Building for Trade Union Negotiators

The workshop aims to know the key elements and processes of (win-win) negotiations and be able to go to the negotiation table prepared for the positive or negative results. It also aims for unions to know how to use social dialogue in productive or negative results.

This training will be divided into two parts. Days 1-2 will be devoted to acquiring skills by using win-win philosophy. Days 3-4 will be for key international and national standards and concepts of negotiation and examining the law and practice of negotiations in the country. It will also level-off and reconcile key international and national principles and concepts of negotiations vis-à-vis law and practice in the private and public sectors. It will also discuss Collective Bargaining law and practice in the Philippines.
