Increasing awareness on gender sensitivity, women rights and human trafficking in the Typhoon Bopha (Pablo) affected communities in Davao Oriental
The abovementioned subproject was implemented with the purpose to prevent accidents of gender-based violence and trafficking in persons in the typhoon affected communities in upland and coastal barangays of the municipalities of Boston and Cateel.
The subproject has developed the capacities of the 20 community educators to facilitate with confidence about gender sensitivity, women and children rights, human trafficking and can be tapped as resource persons on any activity related to gender-based violence and human trafficking in their own localities.
