Women migrant workers

Going home, making good: Stories of triumph and hope as told by Filipino women migrant workers returned from the European Union and neighbouring countries

The book features personal narratives of some of the Philippine beneficiaries of a three-year Project of the International Labour Organization (ILO), supported by the European Union (EU) —“Going back – moving on: Economic and social empowerment of migrants, including victims of trafficking, returned from the EU and neighbouring countries.”

The overall objective of the Project was to contribute to the reduction of labour and sexual exploitation of migrants by supporting a humane return and reintegration process emphasizing economic and social empowerment.
