One-day Presentation for Entrepreneurship Development for the Youth

The International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) conducted the coaching and mentoring phase of the Entrepreneurship Development for the Youth from 3 July to 24 July 2012.

The International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) is currently conducting the coaching and mentoring phase of the Entrepreneurship Development for the Youth from the period of 3 July to 24 July 2012. It aims to reinforce the concepts and skills learned by the participants during the 3-day training on Entrepreneurship Development for the Youth concluded on 16-18 May 2012 at the BSA Tower, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. The training was part of the Capacity Building Program for the local government units on local economic development to promote youth employment. In attendance were representatives from local government units of Masbate, Antique, Maguindanao and Agusan del Sur, youth sector and from NGOs.

The one day presentation activity will provide venue for participants to present business plans on the enterprises for the youth and to share their experiences in developing the business plans.

This is the last coaching and mentoring activity under the LED approach of the ILO. The following are the completed LED training workshops: Empowering Leadership, LED Policy Development, LED Project Management, and Public Financial Management. These are made possible through the support of the Government of Spain under the MDG Fund Joint Programme on Alternatives to Migration: Decent Jobs for Filipino Youth.
